Shifter is sponsoring WordCamp Kyoto and our CEO has joined the speaker lineup!

Shifter is headed to WordCamp Kyoto as a 2017, Gold Sponsor.

This year’s theme is: connect to __, which is quite fitting considering the growing number of applications, devices, and new ways developers are discovering to use WordPress. As the event site states, WordCamp Kyoto 2017 aims to make it a place where various products and people can connect.

Among the speaker lineup will be, Hiromichi Koga, CEO and HBT (Happy Beer Taster) at DigitalCube, the team behind Shifter.

During his session, Hiromichi will cover the topic: “WordPress Will Be More Fun”. This session will cover topics such as getting more out of collaborating with a diverse community, integration microservices with WordPress, the API economy and the future of WordPress to name a few.

But that’s not all! WordCamp Kyoto is a two-day event with plenty more speakers covering topics from WP REST API to Getting started with WordPress on AWS. Following the first day of session is Contributor Day. If you have never been to Contributor Day, everyone is invited and any skill level is welcome. Contributing to WordPress is more than wrangling code, it’s testing, translating, and supporting the community.

If you have touch questions about WordPress come to this event. Most of the speakers at WC Kyoto are seasoned WordPress professions with years of experience. We doubt there a WordPress question or problem that would go unanswered.
