Our latest release is all about cleanup. Based on your feedback we’ve taken a close look at some commonly used featured to make small but necessary adjustments and here’s what we’ve covered.
Shifter Dashboard
We squashed a few bugs thanks to rollbar and user feedback. If you notice something, say something! Don’t let an error go unchecked because we actually like fixing them.
Domain validation also got an upgrade with easier to copy and paste domain name records. Check out our newly updated Custom Domain guide for more info on that.
Generator
Resolved an issue relating to URLs with and without trailing slashes. Both work now and both are in generally available so go regenerate those sites!
Software Updates
In keeping with our commitment to push the latest updates, we’ve updated our WordPress hosting container to run PHP version 7.2.7, the latest available.
WordPress Core was also updated so every new site on Shifter will launch with version 4.9.7.
Support
Chat support between Shifter and your browser is now fully encrypted and hashed for maximum security.
